So, we routinely conduct a Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to ensure all controls and components comply with the project’s specification and that performance meets client expectations.
Checking at an early stage avoids the need for costly revisions or upgrades later on. These tests afford the perfect opportunity to liaise with integrators to keep the project on track.
While it takes from two to five years to complete a new build, technology continues to evolve, and superyacht owners often welcome the opportunity to upgrade to the most advanced systems available. A timely FAT ensures upgrades and amendments to the specification can be carried out with minimal disruption.
